Are You Ready Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Are You Ready

Are you prepared to meet The Lord?
Knowing the devil’s wiles
You’ll flee the thirsting of his sword
And future coming trials

Are you ready for your Maker Yet?
Is your soul safe and sound?
Is your heart on Christ so firmly set?
You know you’re Heaven bound

Perhaps your mind’s still plagued with doubt
Your heart’s in disarray
You think to know what life’s about
And live from day to day

Or maybe Jesus Christ you’ve known
Perhaps The Truth was yours
But now your heart’s grown cold as stone
You’ve opened sin your doors

The day has come the time is near
When tribulation dawns
The anti Christ will soon appear
And that with ten huge horns

The Truth will count for less than nought
Blundering in the dark
With nothing sold nothing is bought
Without the devil’s mark

With bibles being less that rare
God Spirit’s taken flight
Suffering will be everywhere
If there’s a hint of Light

Denying Christ as God divine
Denying Heaven’s will
Saints blood will run as cheap red wine
The mouth of graves to fill
