Your Word Poem by Rosalinda Flores Martinez

Your Word

I come to you in hours of grace
In pensive thought of Thy tender face
I be forgiven in my wicked ways
To ask Thy blessings for the human race

Your work of creation, Thee, I adore
Your Sacred Heart, always I've longed for
If I, be lost, in time and space
Bid angels restore me in web of maze

Your light, O Lord, will shine in days I wake
Your moons, O Lord, will come in nights of ache
The lonely days of tedious paths, our world
Thy miracles breathe here, Your words, O Lord!
