Your Twin Has A Name. Poem by salma. torrez

Your Twin Has A Name.

Your twin has a name.

Did you know you have a twin,
I'll tell you,
your twin is a fluid that lives under your skin.
your twin under your skin,
is a poison that ruins life bitter, and mean.
your twin has a name (alcohol) .
It'll keep your loved ones your friends at bay,
It'll control you and takes you far away.
your twin (alcohol) is a liar.
It'll chip at your brain with a sharp tools,
and when you take your first sip,
It'll never worn you, it comes with its own rules.
when one friend tells you, your face is puffed up
and I tell you, get a grip your hands are shaking you losing control,
you don't listen, it's like a water of duck's back
you quickly run to your twin the poisonous fluid, cause it has no soul.
your twin (alcohol) is something of a tragedy,
be strong STOP! ! ! otherwise it'll trap you when you want to be free.
