Your Neck Is Calling Me Poem by richardo posto

Your Neck Is Calling Me

Rating: 5.0

Your neck is a callin' me,

Long hair is a hiden thee

Turn around! turn around!

Anticipation is a bitin' me

But now th' sun is a blindin' me,

Oh, not the sun,

Its just your radiant smile

I've not seen that in some while

Come run with me,

Come be my lady

Play in the noon day,

Rest where its shady

Look up in the trees,

Leaves sway,

Such peace

Resting your neck,

Sweet with salty sweat

On my arm

As we lay

Side by side

Arm in arm

Eyes turn briefly from the heavens

One,

To look at

The other.
