Your Name
I only caught a lonely glimpse of You
As the stars fell away to adorn the other side of the wide
As they do though, as they are known to do
But the ricochet, leftover light I caught on the earths cycle sigh
So my heart I raised to gratitudes lofty dwelling
And your name I called aloud on the colours of the outward whirlpool
Flute and voice of haunting celtic girl singing of love never ending
Reminding me of a time where golden grapes and their juice are filled in cups overflowing
Forever sowing...
Intoxicates even as the humble strum of some stringed instrument resonates and glides
As the earth turns, as the ocean changes tides
I only glimpsed You when the starlight held You sway
Then the earth did turn for a brighter day.
This is such a beautiful AND meaningful Love Poem. It is already ONE OF MY FAVORITES. I don'thavr time to write an appripriate cimment. Ihave tohelp my 89 yer old aunt. But later tiday I wull retrurn tio it. It is breathtakng! ! !
