You'Re More Than An Internet Friend To Me Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

You'Re More Than An Internet Friend To Me

Rating: 5.0

You prop me up in ways you can't see
You see something that I can't see in me
You make me heal inside, and do so kindly
You let me slide on things and don't remind me
You gently pick me up when you notice I'm down
From far away you can even sense my frown
You have a way of picking me off the ground
And you appear just when I find nobody is around
You come and go and disappear witout a sound
and later when I think you're gone, you're suddenly found
We share a lot of emotion us two
We pick each other up when we're blue
Sorry for any hurt I may put you through
though we're far away, somewhere in Timbuktu
Through the computer keys I feel your gentle touch
I feel your spirit and know you've 'got my back' in a clutch
The friendship you give freely to me feels so plush
and when people run away, you stay and never rush
I miss you much!
Though you're somoene I can't see
I feel your care radiate through me
and it calms my churning sea
reminding me that love is really free
I hope one special day we get a chance to meet
I'll be humble and at your feet
to thank you for leading me to humility
to see of friendship what I was meant to see
but for now I just want you to know
You're more than an internet friend to me
