You Must Try To Feel Happy Poem by Francis Duggan

You Must Try To Feel Happy

You must try to feel happy to make your life worthwhile
And though you may feel you've no reason to smile
For the hard knocks of life have been getting you down
Few do wish to know the sad sack of the town
'Tis hard to smile or laugh when in financial strife
But for many financial woes do become part of life
In that way you are not unusual or one of the few
One might say to that tell us something that's new
On your credit card thousands in money you owe
But few do wish to know of your financial woe
Since they have their own worries and life crosses for to bear
Those in financial difficulty are no longer rare
For many so many life does seem unfair
But the brave one does laugh in the face of despair.
