You, Me, Anything Poem by Sapphire Gordon

You, Me, Anything

You have been in my life for eight years now,
But all those years have been the worst
I have ever lived.

You made harsh comments about me,
To me,
Which really hurt me,
Cut me,
Deep inside.
This may have been about
my
looks,
brains,
Anything.

In many ways you were my personal bully,
But lead me to believe that you were
My best-friend.

You only played with me,
used me,
Which seemed to please me,
delight me.
This may have been to
help,
hurt,
Anything.

But now I can be free.
You are out of my life now.
