You Don'T Know Poem by Ti'ara D. Perry

You Don'T Know

you don't know how it feels to be me
to live in my home and walk in my streets
you don't know what to do
whens there's something wrong
but watch and weep

to be me is something different
to die for was very tempting
but to say that you know
when you really don't have a clue
hurts because this life isn't you
not just me, but everyone too
so you don't even know
so quit saying you do

you don't know how it is in my school
to work everyday and follow the rules
to be pushed around and hard at times
to hang with my people and get left behind
you don't know, so how it is
leave it how its known to live
