You Do Not Know Me Anymore Poem by Gulliver Gimble

You Do Not Know Me Anymore

You do not know me anymore.
You do not know me at all.
Only what you want to know.
Only what you want to believe.
Only what you think you see.
You see me in your reflections.
You may think you know yourself.
You may think you know me.
I will not be your new punching bag.
You do not care to know me anymore.
You do not care to know me at all.
You do not care about anything you say to people.
You do not care what words hurt who or why.
You simply do not care.
You do not know me anymore.
A tragedy in itself.
