You Bring Me Down Poem by Barbara Danielle Smith

You Bring Me Down

You say you love me everyday, But baby
Actions speak louder than words, you see
If that were really true
You'd find a way to show me

You bring me down farther
Farther than I want to be
Farther than I need to be
Baby you're just not the one for me

I see you with all the girls
When I pass by the coffee shop
You think I don't know what you're up to
But I do, that's why we have to stop

You bring me down farther
Farther than I want to be
Farther than I need to be
Baby you're just not the one for me

[I think I might have written this when I was twelve. So, bear with it.]
