You Are A Liar Poem by Adam Rubenstein

You Are A Liar

You Are a liar
By: Adam J. Rubenstein

You are a liar
Secretive at heart
You could fool me
But best believe I’ll be standing there in the dark
Sly cat
You’ll never see it coming
I’ll be in the bushes
Or behind the ferniest

Be it upstairs or down
In the park
Or in a town
Communities never meant much to me
As I’ll kill your young
And leave their mommy
Crying and crying
Tears of fear
She’ll shout
“Take me instead”
As they lower the casket
Placing stones on your tomb

A rose
The last thing you’ll ever get from me
As I plan your defeat
Taking course of course for the police
Taking measures
Precautions are clear
Restrictions…
Solutions are near
The forces are here

The resistance is bare
For my enemy is null and void
As he’s not even there
No care
As he has shown none for me
No care
For the resistance, isn’t there
As he is no match for me
I’m too strong and too witty

Just as an army of one should be
For no one needs to fight my fight
I am a man, army of one, top gun in my flight
Maverick of these seas

The nuclei of the disease
You are a parasite to everybody
A leech for all to be latched upon

But keep going…
Keep lying about what is yours
Its ok, for your course is set
Mapped out for all to see
The ones you knew
Now lost, to thee
Maybe minus one or two
But who gives a bugga boo
For you aren’t anything
And there’s nothing
“Legally” I can do

So I’ll sit abroad
And let Karma
Do it all
