You And Me. Poem by Jeff Taylor

You And Me.

Rating: 5.0

So I brought home a new car and a new laptop computer for her to use
and she looked at me unbelievably, as if to say,
'How can you justify spending this much money? '

I do not bother with an answer
Only look at her with that knowing look that says,
'Hey Honey, it's all for you.'
Except the laptop, that's for me.

'Hey Honey, it's all for you.' love and its expressions in varied forms... togetherness, money, its value in pleasing the loved one......... so i understood this poem....... how can u justify.... her question. it is only a natural reaction of a protective wife and a mother....... thank you. tony

I was just about to pop in on you at Casey's but I see that you are home with a girl, a new car, a laptop and several new poems. Carry on. : -)

If only Casey's paid the cash necessary to have these things!
