You Poem by alonge oluwabukolami

You

you have refused to die
you cannot be killed
like fire refusing to
yield the call of waters
unquenchable!

The product of our intercourse
waiting patiently to deliver
greated with shouts
joy nor grieve

Destinied to live after me
an offspring tobe proud of
haunted, you refuse to die
like smoke
cannot be hidden
like truth
cannot be supressed
not at all
not forever
