Yosemite



I drove across this expansive country
to see the beauty for myself
viewed the grandeur
nature’s masterpiece
and was overwhelmed
as I stood alone in wonder

just me

and a few million others strangers
who took away
only memories
and photographs
we left only footprints…

huge carbon footprints
