Yesterday
Yesterday, I saw you,
As you sat there by yourself.
Yesterday, I spoke to you,
As we walked together down the hall.
Yesterday, I ate with you
As we talked about pointless things.
Yesterday, I laughed with you,
As we began to forget the world.
Yesterday, I cried with you,
As we shared all our pain.
Today, I'll cry with you once more.
We can no longer count on Yesterdays.
