Yes, I'M Proud! Poem by Sasikala Kamandula

Yes, I'M Proud!

Rating: 5.0

Yes, I'm proud
For I'm being loved
Though my life
Is a walk on double-edge sharp knife.

Yes, I'm proud
For I'm a lady with a Lamp
Though I'm blind and clouded with gloom,
The people don't dash or lose the'r bloom.

Yes, I'm proud
For I'm a Queen of Smiles,
True, I'm blessed with two cute blossoms
That glow my dark phases of life always!

Yes, I'm proud
For I live in this miserable world,
Why, yes! It is beautiful and honey at heart!

Yes, I'm proud
For I am yet honored by the crowds;
Though I'm clad in rags of wounded life!

Yes, I'm proud
For I love to live and live to love
Though I'm constantly
Fried and ground!

Yes, I'm proud
For I possess the content abound
Though I'm worth of no penny pound;
What if I'm no wise and fairy
When my heart is Crowning Glory? !

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When the misery agonises me I remember my two children who charm me with their smile every time and soothen my misery, lighting up my heart. The people honor me irrespective of my appearence and drawbacks. They love my language. The peple honor me very much when I see it my mind mirrorizes my drawbacks. Ii feel beyond the expression of words.
Because, I know, in real, I have no merit in me!
my life inspired me to write this poem.

You are most beautiful in your lines! It's just a worth to give it a 10! Nothing more can I do here to show that I loved this work!

This website prevents me from submitting my poem. It sends no msg of password but shuffles no mail nor name. It asks to use another name and mail instead of mine. I created many to overcome this problem but in vain. Recently, I made new membership but no use. Could you tell me, Mr. Mishra, how to manage with it?
