Writing Existing Addictions Poem by Terence George Craddock

Writing Existing Addictions

a year of writing
is better than ten
a hundred existing

really no writing
rather not living
than not writing

unless not writing
was no longer possible
be we brain dead idle

then perhaps ideally
we could live the rest
of our lives in normality

noncreativity
is apathy non-life
unplugged luminosity

to write or not to write
word scented days or nights
to commit to word written meanings

to commit to a life composed intellect
leavings are legacy perceived snapshots
to commit to aspirations aspiring brilliant

life quality inspired enlightened reality
to commit to strive toward great literary goals
to commit to soar to ambitions expressed strongly
