Wreath Of Flowers Poem by Scarlet Romantika

Wreath Of Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Grandma intertwined the branches to make me a wreath.
Flowers I picked from the fields different colors to seek.

When I got them home she gently tucked them in.
Now listen here my lady dear go and find your prince.

Grandma smiled her deepest smile sent me on my way.
Something was different the clouds were pastel purple today.

I ran across the wild flowered hills looking for my prince.
Nowhere did my eye meet a prince to share a kiss.

Sitting against an old oak tree I decided to take a rest.
Closing my eyes I fell so deep into a wonderful dream.

Red wild roses from my wreath danced with desire.
Purple poppies ones so very soft played on my passionate fire.

Calming yellow daisies was a treat with a soothing cheerful smile.
Then lastly bluebonnets with warm devotion stood awhile.

The garden grandma place upon my head felt as light as lace.
Little darling butterflies lighted touching softly against my face.

I awoke very quickly to see them dance and play.
There you were in the sun, golden hair catching rays.

Eyes of blue melted my heart straight away.
A smile that warmed the hearts everyone always.

All those silly butterflies danced around you and me.
Sealing our love forever with a kiss and whispers of honesty.
