A smile, a tear, a whispered word
A secret unremembered
Thrown back laughter at forgotten rivalries
The blessing of my middle years
Wrapped in a Fold of Her
I hug the fragileness and feel home
Earth mother; two births, a thousand children
She holds the world around her
Forcing all her boundaries
Teaching all, she shines, she glows
Precious myrrh, my mother’s gift to me
My sibling queen
The wisdom gift of recognising now
Wrapped in a Fold of Her.
