Wouldn'T It Be Funny Poem by Edwin Tanguma

Wouldn'T It Be Funny

Wouldn't It Be Funny

It has been quite some time
Since I have spoken of my signet
And My Father wants me to ask ya'll
If ya'll have figured out its vignette

I'm not quite sure
Of what he means
I'm not very good
When it comes to scenes

I am only human
I do make mistakes
Yet when it comes to My Father's hand
There are not many fakes

He wants me to remind ya'll
About the tablets he gave Moses
And to let ya'll know
They're rarer than roses

When it comes to the Law
He is a stickler to detail
Just to let ya'll know
He's not much into mail

So if ya'll continue your plans
It is really fine by me
But if you keep messing with My Father
It is ya'll who will see

Oh- just a friendly reminder
Of a certain stay of execution
Wouldn't it be funny
If there were a worldwide electrocution

P.s. Is such a thing possible?
