Would You Like To Play With My Cucumber? Poem by Milos Jovanka

Would You Like To Play With My Cucumber?

Would you like to play with my cucumber?
Its amply dense and steadily limber
Fresh from the earth it rises and hovers
Green as a whistle but twice and thicker
When it's cleaned off it has a nice bright sheen
With an effervescent taste that's nice and rich
Intrinsic to the stature of its good Family genes
It bends slightly aft it makes your hands itch
When you wipe it down good, it gets nice and smooth
The skin is always tough, when try to make a slice
You can eat it raw and quick, or suck out the juice
All the girls in the neighborhood, except 1 or 2
Like to taste its liquid like fresh mountain dew
It's a nice appetizer when you toss it in a salad
Even men like my greens without calories or additives
It might be squat, but it packs a mean punch
You can always count on it to give a filling crunch
And if its not filling I can make up a second serving
My cucumber gardens always growing in the morning
It could serve it for lunch, or secondary appetizer
Have it for a morning breakfast or and evenings snack
A nice tasting cucumber better than having smack
My gardens always open, and the fields are always plenty
Call me up if you want more of my fresh veggies
So would you like to have my cucumber?
