Would Have Been A Beautiful Girl Poem by ... Darjet

Would Have Been A Beautiful Girl

hello
get up at 8: 30
walked out home
in a perfect world
would have been a beautiful girl
but the corners had nails
cracks in the pavement
clouds on a Sunday
why does it have to be?
why did you have to choose?
such a fool
roll the die
pay your taxes
keeps them in jail
babies look when pushed on by
out of the fridge milk turns
but your heart keeps beating
fishes fall into frying pans
bus drivers wake to drive buses
I’m sorry maybe
in a perfect world
would have been a beautiful girl
