Worth Of Life Poem by Pranjal Rajiv Bagadiya

Worth Of Life

Rating: 4.5

Once we stood alone on the road.
It was dark and we couldn't see the mode.

We walked and walked into the stillness.....
Yet the path could not be witnessed.

Suddenly there was thunder in the sky
And the sight made us cry!

We were lost in the woods.....
And none of us could do any good.

No one uttered a single word;
For we stood at the edge of the sword.

None, none was there on the path
And we were walking very fast....

In the hearts of heart everyone prayed:
Let someone come to say-
'Child! There is nothing to worry;
For you are blessed by ALMIGHTY so Great! '

At that moment we found a helping hand;
Who led us through the path like a friend.

On the path we realised,
The person is helpful and wise, kind and experienced.

Soon we were out of the woods,
Eager to meet one who did us such goods....

When the Sun lit the earth with light;
We were eager for our life-giver's sight.

But alas! We could see no one
Soon we found a note-
'MY CHILD, SEARCH WITHIN YOURSELF
AND YOU WILL FIND MYSELF.
I GAVE YOU LIFE;
SO THAT YOU CAN GIVE SOMEONE LIFE.
NOW I SHALL MOVE ON VERY FAST....
FOR SOMEONE MIGHT BE STILL WAITING ON THE PATH
AND I SHALL SHOW THEM THE WAY;
SO AT THE END GOD MAY SAY:
You have performed your duty, My child!
And served the purpose of your very life! '

I suppose you didn't meet somebody in the woods would you google, email, text, Instagram, selfie, fb, ... in school we are in the woods we are under their academic rules which is totally different in real world... we're train again to the company's specifications...so basically we are studying to be capable of receiving training... money making schools teaching useless' expensive academics.

You have got such a lovely style and a philosophical approach that the reader immediately gets into a trans along with the poem's narrative. Thanks and All The Very best.
