Worm Within Our Minds Poem by Scarlet .....

our minds are but apples
hanging on the tree of life
some of us are born on to broken branches
never given a fair chance
we all live and grow on the tree
just waiting
for that day
in which we fall
it is inevitable
what is up must always come down in the end
some of our minds are unspoiled
some of us are stuck with a worm within
that eats us from the inside out
once you have a worm within your mind
it will never leave you
it just travels around inside your mind
spoiling everything it touches
taking all your strength
breaking you until the point
of which you beg for that inevitable fall to come
for if you fall
the worm will jump
you will finally be free
as you fly
oh how wonderful that sounds
at least you would die happy
and you hit the end bellow
