World's Pain
As I reflect on the tragedy and insanity,
And the overall view of our humanity,
I try to keep my outlook positive,
And wonder how to make a better place to live.
If we all pitch in and do our part,
And give everyone a piece of our heart,
Then the human race will not be in vain,
And maybe rid the world of some of its pain.
