Welcome my friend to the wonderful World of School
A world that used to operate by a special golden rule
Where Arithmetic and Spelling were taught each day
Always simple and logical but it worked best that way

Now it is worries about sneakers and the SAT score
For as we change the student ends up wanting more
In this wonderful World of School we need to do well
The future will always judge us and the results will tell
