Words do hurt
And I'm sorry my words did hurt you
I never really thought they would have hurt you so much
Words hurt
And it really took so long for me to notice
Once you said hurtful words to me
I noticed how weak my heart then became
I could have only imagined how weak yours was

I wasn't thinking about how hurt you would have felt
But all I want to know is, did you really mean those hurtful
words? Or did you simply say them to make me feel how you did?
Words do hurt and I probably noticed it too late
I just want us to say less hurtful things and start to throw
love to one another's way.

Words do hurt and can change a person for life
Words do hurt and can brake our poor little hearts
Words do hurt and can make you run away
Run so far you would never see the day
Words can make you smile yet they can also bring you down
So think before you say something you don't mean
Because once you say a word you can't take it back, just leave

But just know this, the words I said to you was these: I LOVE YOU.
