Won't Shave Her 'stash' - Lincoln Park Zoo

I am an Inca tern and do
Sport a very classy moustache
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
And often this bird likes to flash
This feathered tuft just to say, 'Hi.'
I'm not sure what its purpose is,
Other than humans to ask why.
They look at me and say, 'Gee whiz, '
'Look at that 'stash' that's on that bird! '
I guess I could sing them a song,
But I smile and don't say a word.
Humans are fun to string along.

Both he and she have 'stash' to whirl.
I just happen to be a girl.
