Wonderful (For Ten Years) Poem by Pierre Rausch

Wonderful (For Ten Years)

That the rocket had landed in front of the burglars
I'm trying to have a relaxed day
Like a rose in the street, like a flower in the water
Reservation is required weeks in advance

A well of wonderful range. Wonderful
A wonder on the highway. Wonderful

A collection of my favorite fabrics
Could no longer see the Pop Art
A mix of galaxy, a mix of branches
Playing banjo in a band

A well of wonderful range. Wonderful
A wonder on the highway. Wonderful
All pink and flashing lights
Smile at space alien language
When the blizzard uses different lines
In a snippy hurl that reads panic
A well of wonderful range. Wonderful
A wonder on the highway. Wonderful

OK you break it up right now
In an innocent nightgown
The longest breach of pearls and eagles
The progressive rainbow swirling tile

A well of wonderful range. Wonderful
A wonder on the highway. Wonderful
All pink and flashing lights
Smile at space alien language
When the blizzard uses different lines
In a snippy hurl that reads panic
A well of wonderful range. Wonderful
A wonder on the highway. Wonderful

A well of wonderful range. Wonderful
A wonder on the highway. Wonderful
