With You, My Friends Poem by Jacob Bland

With You, My Friends

Rating: 5.0

Friends laughing together
Of their memories of we
Though it didn't last forever
I hope they still see me

I wish I could be near
With a hand at their backs
To all those I held dear
Now my presence lacks

But memories still have been
Thoughts never far away
I'm not with you again
But I will be with you someday

The time I had
Would never be traded
No need to be sad
For I have not fully faded

In all of you
Is a piece of me
I hope you use it to
Fill yourself with glee

For I am never far
I'm watching up above
Like the headlights of a car
Shining on you with my love

Laughing together and sharing memories both are beautiful in many ways in this poem shared. Nice job done.
