With These Tears Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

With These Tears

What can I build with these tears?
Except a house full of memories
A poem full of thoughts
And a heart filled with agony
With these tears,
I will tear apart the pain
I will wash all of my sorrow
And repair my brokenheartedness
What can I do with these tears?
Except to accept my mortal existence
To understand that life is not for keeps
And to love unconditionally
With these tears
I will write you a poem
I will paint a picture of you
And I will sob in silence
What can I do with these tears?
Except to let them flow
Carry my misery away
And allow my body, mind and soul to heal
