Lord God of Heaven, O great and awesome
God, except we all repent, we will succumb.
Destined to be the bull’s eye and the prey,
Your Holy People are benumbed today.

Dumbed on sin’s internecine battlefield,
The Jew, held hostage as the human shield
Of fishers, hunters and exterminators,
Hijacked even by his imitators.

Biased newsmen, dangerous with safeguards,
Implement their patent double standards,
Masquerading in high humanism
Masking blatant anti-Semitism.

Sold by arcane hierarchies for gain,
Old enmities despoil our own domain,
And I, a Jew, in shared duplicity
Confess to You my own complicity.
