Wisk Me Away Poem by David Harris

Wisk Me Away

Rating: 5.0

Wisk me away
to a dream world,
to an island in the sun
where there is no inhabitants
so I can be alone
away from angry voices
that shout and moan all day.
Wisk me away.
Wisk me away.

Take me to a place
of peace and tranquillity.
Take me to somewhere
a million miles from here,
to a place where
silence reigns supreme
so that I can relax
and start to think again.
Whisk me away.
Whisk me away.
