Wishing Well Poem by Rokket Grrl

Wishing Well

Toss a coin into the wishing well
Make a wish, but don't tell!
If you tell it won't come true
So telling's the last thing you want to do
Make your count, wish for something good
I don't have much to wish for, otherwise wishing i would
Don't waste your money wishing for gold
The greed will make your heart turn freezing cold
Wish for her love or maybe mine
But if you don't get hers don't bother to whine
You always have me, so this wishing wells no use
Leave it until it's broken and its bricks come loose
Till vines grow over it until it you can't see
But if I ever loose you at least I'll know where it'll be
So I can wish you back, back to our home
So I will never ever, ever be alone
But right now I'm alone, so I guess maybe some wishing I should do
I just wish you'd love me, as much as I love you. 3
