Wishing For Your Gladness Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Wishing For Your Gladness

R-emembering your birthday
O-n January fifteenth dawn;
N-ew morn has a promise,
A-s the twilight is gone.
L-ife ahead looks so bright, for the sun begins to shine;
D-espite difficulties and tests you'll be able to cross the line.

A-t the end of the horizon
L-ies a sparkling light;
L-ife eternal awaits you,
A-s the sun erases the
N-ight.

B-eautiful promised land
R-emains in your sight;
I-n spite of the darkness,
O-ne God sets things aright.
N-ow is the time to thank the Lord,
E-xpress your gratefulness;
S-inging happy birthday to you, as we are wishing for your gladness.

A-t the end of the horizon L-ies a sparkling light; L-ife eternal awaits you, A-s the sun erases the N-ight. A magnificent acrostic, sir Bernard.
