Wise Counsel Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Wise Counsel

Rating: 5.0

there is more than one way
of doing most things
often a little forethought
can resolve problems
provide better solutions
more favourable alternatives

a little planning good will
goes a long way
sometimes it is better
to think before we act
the teacher taught models
of favourable solutions

when the teacher walked
among us you did not listen
when the teacher left words
of wisdom you did not read them
when will you decide
to listen follow wise counsel?

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Intelligent, but also soft. Wise, but also caring. When will I carry out your counsel? Laura

The Holy Bible attests to that. You are messenger of the Almighty. Lovely poem. Continue.

Guidence should be followed to reach wise and best decision about everything in our lives but who gonna appreciete good things until disaster happen. We use to take things for granted especially about kindness and compassion; selfishness, individualism or material's priority will lead us to the destruction of what ever good aspect of human and civilization. We only cry when the pain come and worldly temptation gives us nothing except REGRET and lesson to learn by hard way. Very wise poem.
