Winter Start Poem by Daniel Miltz

Winter Start

The north winds blow
Thus' with whisk, whirl, and whiff
Ahhh, one that croons a melody
Widda carefree humming riff
Winter upon us all
Loving the season, wonderfully so
As its brittle flakes fall and fly away
Daubs the unsullied vale with snow
A season's dream is foretold
Tis' came calling in tow
Days are cold and short
As north winds do blow
