Winter Song Poem by Mira Midha

Winter Song

Foggy hues screen the skies,
Amid winter white on yonder high.
Frosty bites and rosy cheeks,
Huddling blankets, wooly sheep.
Fire sides, dancing embers glow,
Glinting shadows caress the snow,
Cold sparkling bubbles wine,
Mountain sides and candles dine.
Sleet, freeze wraps the sun,
Fauna frolic in icy fun.
Shivers, fingers warm, a chocolate mug,
Snuggle warmth, furs that hug.
A window pane and smoky breath mist,
Thoughtful looks whispered wish.
Santa's socks and Noel sings,
Festive lights and sleigh bells ring.
Summer came now autumn's gone,
Hallelujah, winter song.
