Winter Blossom Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Winter Blossom

Now wintertime dim begins
From outside my window
The snow circles and spins
In a breezy blow show
Fly high fly low
Fly fly darkish crow
Singing is time of happiness
Moments calm and cold
Christmas coming again fresh
Flickering lights to unfold
Fly high fly low
Time for joy ho ho ho
Children to shout cheerfully
In white frosty scenery
Nothing for grayish dully
Only sweet faces sincerity
Fly high fly low
Rejoice with new mistletoe
Winter moments on streets
With the houses full f lights
Everywhere tricks of treads
Autumn has lost its flights
Fly high fly low
In all around frosty snow
Fly high fly low
In snowflakes falling glow
Moments of beauty are here
Lights in the city night
Candleholders singing year
Coming soon splendid bright
