Windblown Whispers Poem by Jayne Doe

Windblown Whispers

Rating: 5.0

Windblown whispers of goodbye
Slowly start to pass me by
Are they yours or are they mine
Windblown whispers of goodbye

Sit and watch the passing time
Have some reason without rhyme
And I swear there were no signs
To these whispers of goodbye

Feel them take as they go
Parts of you they've come to know
Turn your back so you don't see
That now drifting missing piece

Windblown whispers of goodbye
Slowly start to make you cry
They're both yours and they're both mine
Windblown whispers of goodbye

Sit and watch our passing time
No more reason to our rhyme
And you swear there were no signs
To these whispers as goodbye

Feel them take as they go
Parts of us we've come to know
Close our eyes so we don't see
That now broken fading piece

And we swear there were no signs
To our whispers of goodbye

And we swear there were no signs-
To our windblown whispers of goodbye
