Wind Poem by Daniel Miltz

Wind

Rating: 4.3

A veering wind brings fair skies
A backing wind is to be despised
Winds at night
Are bright always
Wind from the Nor'east
Is good for neither beast nor man
If barometer and thermometer rise together
It's a very sure sign of fine weather
No weather be ill
If the wind be still
Winds in a hushed tone whisper
Speak softly with whine and whimper
The wind sings freely
As a leaf spins from a tree
