Win Life's War Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Win Life's War

M-ist, haze, and fog
A-re fading into the night;
R-ay of the morning sun
I-s starting to set things
A-right.

T-wenty-third February,
E-vening clouds disappear;
R-emember the huge event,
E-very once in a year.
S-hadows have just faded
I-nto the deepest darkness;
T-wilight passes from view,
A-nother new dawn rises.

L-et not the rain remain,
A-llow it to lose its ground;
B-ad or stormy weather
I-s nowhere to be found.
T-ry to brave the horizon,
A-im for the twinkling star;
N-either retreat nor quit in order to win life's war.
