Willow Wild Poem by Josey Alfred

Willow Wild

She stands erect, her head stubborn,
Stern not to yield to wise advice!
Looks ups to home, to boost her ego!
Lending ears to echoes from tombs.

She sways and dances to homely tunes,
From native home village suburbs
No force or might of Sun can ever!
Tempt her to look for, truths of life!

Her vain efforts look, foolish though!
She thinks the truth emerge from home
She forgets the earth will hold her till!
Sun yield her strength to have firm grip.

Might of sun rays, nourish her though,
She thinks her strength, is from her home
The rains will lash on day too hard,
And throw out, her from mother's tomb.
