Rising, soaring, searching higher
What true faith, will reveal
What saints possess, sinners require
With or without God’s Seal
What selfish love cannot receive?
No shameful fool seeks for
That only Salvation’s reprieve
Opens life’s yearned for door
Seek what no mortal eye has seen
No finite ear has heard
No sin drenched soul has ever been
Believing truth, absurd
With life in mind seeking yonder
Though countless ponder why
My spiritual thoughts wander
Above the starry sky
On bended knees beside my bed
Oft on a seat downstairs
Talking to He that once was dead
Who lives, who truly cares
Christ Jesus, Lord God Creator
God’s Son, made flesh and bone
Life’s servant King, sinners to cater
To roll away death’s stone
Allow Christ’s blood penetrate
So deep within your heart
That true life, you may celebrate
From death’s wide road to part
Come to The Saviour, while you can!
Bend Heaven’s King your knee
Come to your God, who died as man
To save both you and me…..
