We're blaming God for our failings
Man's wants and needs on earth
Though with backs against life's railings
Grace offers man new birth
To change, to live in sweet union
With peace with joy unknown
Partaking awesome communion
Around our Father's throne
But when money's not one's worry
Where comfort's common place
Who when thriving, thinks to hurry
To seek Salvation's grace
Granted to all who enquire
How can man's troubles end
Attain all one's desire
From man's almighty friend
We'll shake our fists when times are bleak
When plagued with sores, with pains
When troubles come, its God we seek
To take or break death's chains
God's blamed; for all our troubles
Each burden, each defeat
All our sufferings our struggles
Each dilemma we meet
Rarely, we'll take a look within
Regard one's precious soul
Study the consequence of sin
Obstructing true life's goal
Is God to be blamed for sending
His only Son to die
For love's banquet joyful attending
With Heaven's King on high.....
