Will God forgive us?
When we do wrong
Will He stand beside us?
To help make us strong

Will He be a sign of hope?
When good fortunes turn bad
Or will He desert us?
Because we've made him sad

Will He turn his back on us?
When we need him the most
Or will He just disappear?
Like that of a ghost

Can He forgive us?
For what we have become
Will He take us in his arms?
When our life is done
