Wildflower Poem by T.A. Rosenbaum

Wildflower

Turn your face towards the sun
Our day begun, spurn the night and shun
Sorrows’ way, and stun my world with mirth
Radiant flower unfurl and floridly fleece the earth
Make this heart forget the grey
And in joyed reverie stay
Never wane, I beg, but blithely bloom eternal
And draw me from this nocturnal world internal
With the gentle breezes dance without a care
The sadness is too much for me to bear
