Why the Human Head So Fickle:

[The Symbol ($ dollar sign) of pure
Ancients’ Senses Crossed Out by
Modern Senses]

Why the human head so fickle
The symbol a dollar for a nickel
Fragile and faintheartedly insensible
In relationship to divine commune.

The wear of spiked heels lift to
Atmospheres of aesthetic plots of
Imaginary fictions of pleasure at every
Outing human heads tip to point
From reason toward athletic endeavor
Flips character and trips the balance
Step lightly on the softness of
Fragile footwear and slippery soil
Walk stiffly upright against the wind
Stand firmly to front walls of barrios
Sleep lightly reclined on ghetto floors
Creep silently

(Lee B. Mack, Why the Human Head So Fickle: page 2)

Veer right from darkest night to
Inverse transformational awakening
From left dreams
Face nonfictional whiteness of awful
Fictional ideas
Give title light lift divine assertions
From self-preservation - apply sanctions
Extend rule of law to peace
Health and wealth usurped and denied
Draw the line through reparations
To redefine the dollar sign
As the symbol of true human senses
Crossed out
Reservation treaties painted
Over by graffiti on securitized screens
And walls of Indian tabernacles
And poor white condo-apartments
In urban and local internet access
Service jurisdictions
Silently prepare stand up to fight

Stumble not at invisible sight
A symbol for a dollar’s worth of life
Resurrect from cross my heart
Paint in human blood divine right.
