Why Do I Try? Poem by kare bear

I always ask myself,
why do I try?
Why do I try to communicate,
if they're always going to let my words just fly by?

If they cared enough,
they'd listen and understand me.
But if they cared,
they wouldn't see how passionate for them I can be.

But still,
Why do I try?
All they're going to do is ignore me,
and I'll just crash, rather than fly.

Why do I try,
if they're never going to forgive me?
Why do I try?
If they're never going to let our happiness open to be?

But then,
I remember the answer to my question: Why do I try? .
I try because deep down, I love them.
And I will never tell them goodbye.
